| Angas & Bremer takes its name from the two rivers revered as the heart and soul of our Langhorne Creek wine region, where vines were first planted over 150 years ago. Despite our long and distinguished history, Langhorne Creek is often regarded as Australia’s best kept wine secret. The natural floodplain nestled on the banks of the Angas & Bremer Rivers allows the vineyards to start each growing season with a root zone full of water. Collecting the runoff from the hills east of Adelaide, the naturally occurring irrigation system of our vineyards contributes to the truly unique terroir of this region. The two rivers are key ingredients to the wines of Angas & Bremer and the ‘heart and soul’ of Langhorne Creek.
